For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you.We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[e] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[f] to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians is the book..or rather the epistle that I was reading right before my life fell apart. As I read Colossians 1:9-14 this morning, I began to cry...inside! Do you ever do that...? Do you ever feel the deep, deep sorrow of the tears from the inside and yet on the outside your face is dry? Well, for the last 3 years..I've had tears both on the inside and on the outside of my life! I'll tell you more about that sometime, but for now...I'm going to say from experience...we need to be "strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience" all the time!! The road is heavy...although His burden is light...the road is heavy and long and weary and mostly uphill? Have you been strengthened by His might and lifted by His glory this morning? Take time to listen to this music and just let His mighty power lift you up!!
