confused, and forgetful...

Sometimes we really don't get it!! Actually, most of the time. Whenever I feel afraid, my fear is a result of amnesia because the God that protects me didn't leave and I have somehow forgotten that He is there, just as near as I'd like for Him to be. Interestingly, we forget a lot of things, a lot of truths and sadly, we forget the most important truths of all: we forget the facts God has shared with us in His whole truth revealed to us in His Holy Word.

"I will never leave you nor forsake you," He tells us...."I am"...He says..."I love," He promises, "I will return," He reminds...and yet we act like we've never heard the story...! Maybe that's why we are commanded even to choose life, love and hope, because if left to our own devices, we will forget how to have joy. So, it's almost thanksgiving, and we have forgotten perhaps how to give thanks....! Maybe we aren't feeling very thankful? Possibly, is this you right now? Are you feeling thankful? How soon till that feeling ends? Are you feeling ungrateful? How soon till this too passes? What if we were to enter thanksgiving grateful because of the truth that He is in control. Furthermore, what if we were to act grateful because of His sovereignty and only because He is God? In God's Holy Word, he reminds us to,

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus" 1 Thessalonians 5:18, NIV).

Such a powerful reminder to do quite the impossible task....!! I'm supposed to give thanks in all circumstances? All? Truly, the Good Lord could not have meant us to rely on feelings and then to issue this mandate to give thanks in all circumstances. I'm not feeling very thankful right now...! Yet, I praise God for this reminder that my gratitude is to God and not to my circumstance. Also, I praise God that our present trials pass away and the words of the Lord last forever.  Please break bread with your families, or alone or wherever this year with the thought and the truth that God is the reason to give thanks and hopefully no matter the circumstances, Thanksgiving will be full of joy!!

Hopefully this video will help you worship how rich we are all this thanksgiving and how truly blessed because God gave the ultimate gift and has never taken that gift away!

A word about worms.

All that chatter about caramel apples naturally made me think about worms.  You know what is akin to sin? Well, actually it is a sin? An unforgiving heart! Not surprisingly, there is not a lot of chatter on my blog about forgiveness….!! As you read my story..which is not even close to being told yet…you'll probably figure out why!! However, I want to share with you something that I learned about forgiveness last weekend! Let's talk about worms shall we? apples are so delicious, until they rot or have become victims of the worm! Then, you would rather die than touch that apple! Yuck! Did you know that Jonah had a problem with un forgiveness and he didn't even know it? Yep! Truly, I believe he was just like an apple that was rotting from within and infested with worms and it took deep sea diving, encounters of a fishy kind and a really hot, sun scorching day to reveal it to him!! Have you ever had a problem and you didn't know it! Have you ever bitten into something that was rotten and you didn't know it because it looked alright from the outside surface? Well, I have! What's more, Jonah definitely has! Did you know that unforgiveness grows and gets worse over time? We can go from being offended and hurt to wishing for someone's demise! The scariest level in my opinion, is going from wanted to see the lost get found…as a christian, to wanting the lost to stay lost!! Yikes!!! Jonah was there and he didn't even know it! Honestly, I've been there and I didn't even know it!!

Jonah 3:10 reads,

10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

Jonah 4 reads,

Jonah’s Anger at the Lord’s Compassion

But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. 2 He prayed to the Lord, “Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”
But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”
Jonah had gone out and sat down at a place east of the city. There he made himself a shelter, sat in its shade and waited to see what would happen to the city. Then the Lord God provided a leafy plant[a] and made it grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head to ease his discomfort, and Jonah was very happy about the plant. But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant so that it withered. When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, “It would be better for me to die than to live.”
But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”
“It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.”
10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

I love that it talks about worms, don't you? Jonah did not want God to forgive those people…and see them be blessed! He was so sure that God would implement justice his way, that he waited to see what would happen to the city, even after God had relented in chapter 3!!

Have you ever wanted your way so badly that you'd rather die than give it up to God? Have you ever wanted justice your way so badly that you'd rather see others die than live?? I have!! Friends, like a worm that destroys, a heart that is not fully yielded to God's plan and design produces some pretty rotten apples.

When God's plan makes your squirm, there's a good chance you've got some worms!!
Yes indeed! God's ways are not our ways and His plans are not our plans…but…rest assured in this fact, They are better…It's coming…the better part of the other side of the mountain…It's coming and the end is beautiful!!

The Kingdom of God makes the best apples!

Oh Jonah! Why do we rely on a lie? Because the Lie looks and smells really good! Ever had a caramel apple? Have you ever seen the different flavors they have? Try resisting them!! I dare you!!  I was thinking the other day about why we have such a hard time following Christ! We say...Lord, Lord...I will do what's right..isn't that enough...? I'll give you parts of my life...I'll do what you say and I'll follow..Funny how much of Jonah's life was saturated with the work of the Lord!! He was doing so many things well and for the work of God! Yet, when asked to completely give his life and future over to God's whim and go to Niniveh..Jonah ran away sad....Consider another young child of God, a child that ran away sad!! The Scriptures tell us in Matthew 19:16-30

The Rich and the Kingdom of God

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[a] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

We can be richer than any of our wildest dreams in Christ...but we hold onto one thing and lose all the rest don't we? The truth is not in focusing on how hard it is to follow Christ...because to give your self to something..anything is easy...we do it everyday! The ease is in the reality of the sell out!! You know, the great sell out...Satan had a bake sale and apples are definitely on the menu!! Money apples...Car apples, computer apples, romance apples...church service apples, important job apples...ect...are all on Satan's table...the price? Just your soul..!! Christ asks us for our life..not that we do all things right...!! Christ wants your soul!! So, it's not hard to give your life over to a person...the question is simply, which person will you choose? The one having the apple sale?  Or, will you choose the one who made the apples? Oh, Lord we want to choose you, the maker of the apples! We cannot leave any apples on the table for the devil to use in his bake sale..we have to give them all back to Christ and then we are free to follow.

When we leave something on the table, the devil can hit us from any angle. When we choose to give God all of our life, the devil cannot sell us His lie.

Matthew reminds us,
And what happens if we do give it all to Christ?
27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”
28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[c] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

With your strength and power, enable us to see that we have been deceived! Yes, we have given our lives over to the deceiver! Instead Lord, we choose to give you everything and to leave no apples on the table!

Are you cutting off the wrong head: Speak the name of the Lord!

Cutting off the Lord as head is so ironic isn't it?? Whenever a snake attacked my yard as a little girl, my mother would go after the slimy serpent! In particular was her aim at the reptile's head!! Yes, that's right, she cut off the head of the snake!! That's right friends, "Stick that sword into that snake"! The devil is so good at flip flopping the truth on us isn't he? How sad that we actually listen! We are afraid of God, because we don't fear him as good! We are mad at God, because we blame him! We are playing God, because we don't believe that He lives! In each instance, we are not afraid of Satan!! We are not blaming Satan! We are however, cutting off the Head and Lordship of our God, the only God, while leaving the serpent to slither into our minds and live!

Let's look at Jonah! It's windy today and I began to think of the sea, the unpredictable ocean!

Jonah 1:6-12 reads,
The captain went to him and said, “How can you sleep?  ( notice that Jonah was sleeping well in his poor choice) emphasis mine. Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us so that we will not perish.”
Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah. So they asked him, “Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What kind of work do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?”(notice the questions, those thought provoking questions that beg the question, "have you forgotten who you are and who is your God) emphasis mine.
He answered, “I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.
10 This terrified them and they asked, “What have you done?” (They knew he was running away from the Lord, because he had already told them so.)
11 The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”
12 “Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, “and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.”

Sometimes we need to wake up and call God, "God" and let the rest be liars, don't we?? Out loud with me and Jonah, "I worship the Lord, the God of Heaven, who made the sea and the dry land." Jonah 1:9

We become so deceived don't we?? We know about God, and perhaps even have known Him personally, but then we forget who He is, that He is good and that He alone saves! How do we wake up!! Speak the truth over your situation, you know? Whichever situation has persuaded you to choose another way other than God's way is in need of the truth talk!! "I worship the Lord, the God of Heaven, who made ________insert your storm (not because God made your problem, but because only He can calm it down)!! All Jonah needed to do was say it, My God is just bigger than all of this!! When we forget the Lord's way, His  truth is all we have to say: We must speak His name!!

Let Jesus speak peace to your situation and watch the wind die down!! Listen to the following gospel song and let today be a day that you give the Lord Headship once again!

Knowing the Lord is Good...

You know something? We are truly very negative as humans, aren't we? Have you ever just sat there stumped when asked to list your blessings?  Ever felt yourself bursting with responses just dripping off your tongue when asked what's wrong? We salivate over negative expression! Why?? The answer is simple: because our heart's hopes have died the moment we have forgotten the goodness of God and the life He brings through suffering…! The inevitable result?? Negativity..No Hope, No positive energy!! Then we use our energy to give up!! To hades with God we say…this life hurts!! To hades with His plan..This plan causes pain!! Don't believe me??? If we find God good..then why is our language so bad..so negative?? So many prefixes in our language give us away! Disconnect, Disarm, Depreciate, Disillusionment, Deactivate, Despair, Depress, Demotivate, Disengage…Holy Guacamole!! I'm getting Depressed just saying all of them!! We love to describe all that is going wrong, all that we Distrust about this Dying world…Oh why don't we just say it…Along with Nietzsche every one, "God is dead"!

The idea is stated in "The Madman" as follows:
God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. Yet his shadow still looms. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?
—Nietzsche, The Gay Science, Section 125, tr. Walter Kaufmann

Wow..Are we really sure that we want to mess with God's plan?? Are we sure we want to decide that God is not good enough for us to follow?? Here was Jonah, mad as a cow that he was asked to go save murderers and yet…he was the murderer of God the moment he exchanged the truth of Him for the lie that his plan was better than God's plan.

Romans 1:25

New International Version (NIV)
25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Jonah didn't want to go to Nineveh…the plan wasn't fair, how could the request have been a right request, even a reasonable request?? Oopse, Satan got us again didn't he? We are not the author of God's story..He is! Jonah, Jonah, Jonah…Faith is trusting only in the Savior's way before you even know what that way is going to be!! Dear Friends…We walk by faith that the way is good, not by sight that sees what the way will be at every turn!! Yes, God is good…and He's alive!! God is good even though it's His version of good, not ours!! Stop killing Him! Stop putting Him back up on that cross because it's you that wants to be God! Stop it and face your own block of wood…In the end…it's beautiful!!  Ask yourself the last time you really looked at the way the most heinous of all deaths, the crucifixion! When you start focusing on the fact that the crucifixion became the resurrection then you will stop getting in God's way! When we don't like the Pain..our faith begins to wain!! When you're in pain, remember what you have to gain..!!

God is Faithful!!

Following Christ or floundering in the "Sea of Disconnect"?

A lot of Jonah's problem in following the command of Jehovah was a disconnection from the head of Jehovah! I know he was probably thinking he'd like to save his neck and stay out of Ninevah..or LOL Keep his head..!! However, I truly know that this guy had lost connection from "the head…!!" Dis connection actually means to "Dis" God and connect to something else! For example, one might connect to a person, a place, a ministry, another well..another resource…another power source…ect…!!

In Colossians 2:16-19 we read,

"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with      regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow."

Wow..ok..let's just say that there is one reality here that we have to understand and His name is Jesus Christ. Not only can others distract us from the prize..who is Christ, but they can and will disqualify us!! Yikes!! Just when you thought it was safe to go swimming down your Christian journey…Jaws shows up!! Truly, I hate to say it, but I'm still afraid to swim because I saw Jaws at a very young age! Well, Jaws was a fantasy and Satan is very very real!! Yes, Satan knows how to swim really well, and how to swim circles around you, so fast in fact that he makes really strong Christians go done really fast if they've lost connection with their center, Christ.!! So how do we make connection with the head? Friends, we have to Dis all others and connect only to Christ! Is Christ your power source, your only power source? Is Christ all you use to gain strength and comfort? If not, be prepared to get thumped hard..because All other ways and things will fail…but Christ alone is faithful!! Feeling disconnected from Christ..?? Why don't you dis other things that have distracted you and stop dissing Christ!! Jonah..Jonah..Jonah…even if you were sent to Ninevah…had God been your only point of connection, you would have had nothing to lose…

Remember,

Nothing in all this world can separate us from the love of God..not Ninevah..not a tragic fate, not a cancer or a death..nothing can shake that turf!! It's solid ground. When we reject, there is a "disconnect" !! So when God calls and you say, "no"!! Yes, it's certain…you are connected somewhere else that you fear losing…!! When we are centered on Christ, friends, we've already won..we have nothing to lose…!! So, what are you waiting for?

The Test!!

Jonah was absolutely positively put to the test, the test of all tests…It's called:  wait for it…wait for it…Ok..Ok..I'll tell you…I'm not a patient person either…It's called "The obedience test" !! Ouch!! Obedience means not to do what comes naturally to us, but to choose to do that which is unnatural and that which takes supernatural power to carry out in practice.

Jonah acted naturally….there is no way he wanted to humble himself, face the criticism of Israel and go serve his ultimate enemy!! But..do you know what always cracks me up? Commentary about Cross style living!! We love to write commentaries about how others should have known better or how they shouldn't have acted a certain way..!! True!! There are many times that we should all be humble and completely unafraid of living out that humility..but then…it's all put to the test…Ugh!! Oh no!!  My favorite commentaries go beyond the commentary about humility and remind you how to be humble…for we are totally commanded to be humble…!!
Friends, read this and weep with me…LOL...

Philippians chapter 2,
       " In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ                Jesus:Who, being in very nature[a] God did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death
        even death on a cross!

Know what's amazing??? Nowhere in all of the passage of Scripture does it say anything about trying! The Bible simply, commands that we "Have" the practice of Humility in place and therefore we "have" the same..not close to, but the same…mindset as Christ Jesus.

So, what's the answer?? The Holy Spirit!! When you're operating in the natural mode, expect for others to get your goat!! When you need to take the humble road, call out quick for the Holy Ghost!!

Disillusionment...

John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
John 8:43-45

Ever been lied to and just became so furious at the betrayal? Ever just wanted to say, "God, why did you let this happen"!!  Well, maybe it wasn't God fathering you at the time…maybe it was someone else??

2 Corinthians 2:10-12

New International Version (NIV)
10 Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.
Friends without the protection of the Holy Spirit, we are unaware of his schemes…Ha..Good luck!!!

Hebrews 3:12-14

New International Version (NIV)
12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

Have you ever had a wave of emotion just sweep over you that made you..oh let's say, "sea-sick"? Well, I'll bet Jonah was on that boat feeling just a bit sea-sick, don't you? I was thinking today that perhaps when we are confused…and since God is the truth and not confusing at all, that maybe God is not the problem??  Or, perhaps when we are disillusioned, that perhaps we ought not ask God why, when He had nothing to do with it!! Who, might I ask is the author of confusion? I think you know his name…it's Satan!! Therefore, when you have Dissed God and chased after one of Satan's illusions, don't be surprised if you are struck disillusioned!!

Lord, remind me to turn away from illusions and please expose them in my life. Let me get out of the boat that heads in the wrong direction and instead walk on the waters of your path that is always well lit.  Amen!

Pick up your Cross

Matthew 16:24-25

New International Version (NIV)
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.

I've heard so many pastors and laity in the Church call Jonah the worst missionary of all time!! In reality, Jonah is an example of real mission at its best.  Consider the fact that a lot of missionaries are sent to those that are not active, current enemies! Although some mission fields are tough, demanding and deserve our full respect….they are not as tough as Jonah's field. The Ninevites, or the Assyrians, were the known enemies of Israel.  Now, for us living on American soil, you might not truly appreciate the concept of a religiously, diametrically opposed, militarily threatening enemy.  Try living next to someone who's mother had their head blown off by the people you are being called to serve!! Try selling mission needs in the church, letting "the body' know that you plan to send chocolate cookies to Bin laden and the Taliban for Christmas! Ha!! Now try doing it just two days after 9/11!! Ha! Ha! Jonah and his people, the Israelites were under attack and under threat of more attack when he was called to serve in Ninevah.  The truth is …that equation added up to E= mc2 or the right stuff to go Boom!! The military rulers, as in many other nations, could be a brutal breed. They ruled their empire and subdued nations with absolute terror.
“I destroyed, I demolished, I burned. I took their warriors prisoner and impaled them on stakes before their cities. …flayed the nobles, as many as had rebelled, and spread their skins out on the piles [of dead corpses]… many of the captives I burned in a fire. Many I took alive; from some I cut off their hands to the write, from other I cut off their noses, ears and fingers; I put out the eyes of many of the soldiers." (TimeFrame 1500-600 BC by Time-Life Books) Assyrian War Bulletin (1000 B.C.) http://www.public.iastate.edu/~cfford/342worldhistoryearly.html

“I slew two hundred and sixty fighting men; I cut off their heads and made pyramids thereof. I slew one of every two. I built a wall before the great gates of the city; I flayed the chief men of the rebels, and I covered the wall with their skins. Some of them were enclosed alive in the bricks of the wall, some of them were crucified on stakes along the wall; I caused a great multitude of them to be flayed in my presence, and I covered the wall with their skins. I gathered together the heads in the form of crowns, and their pierced bodies in the form of garlands."

Jonah wasn't just uncomfortable, he was facing certain death, socially and physically…and for what?? His worst enemies…!! Shoot! I'd take the whale!!

Excuse me mister? I'd like a ride out there to meet my big fish!!

So what do we do with the cross theology found in Matthew 16? To take up your cross means knowing that people die up on that wood, and carrying it means it has a destination..death! What??? However, "whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." Yikes! Heah Christian! Ready to pick up your cross? there is good news for you if the answer is, "no" and even better news if the answer is, "yes"! Jonah wasn't ready either and the Lord gave us more grace…  But for Abraham, who was ready…the Lord made his descendants as numerous as the stars!!  Today, consider the cost of the cross and determine how you would like His story written out for you…His plans are perfect and in the end the story ends with victory…

Every empire like every human life has an hour glass with grains of sand flowing through it and when judgment had come, the city was defeated by the next emerging empire in Babylon. We all should try to look past the 'normalcy' in our own nations and our own lives, because one day our nations will pass, one day our lives will end and the only thing left to us will be our relationship with God, standing either in our own righteousness, or in the righteousness provided as a free gift in Jesus Christ.
It is mercifully interesting to note that after the fall of Nineveh, the Assyrian people did not disappear, they were simply ruled by others. Assyrians were some of the first converts by the earlier church and they became a thriving Christian community sending missionaries through out the eastern world. Today there is still anAssyrian Church with an amazing history and communities throughout the world.
Or, you can wait and wait and wait and  refuse to take a leap of faith!!

Listen to the following song and consider letting God write His story all over your heart!!

The truth about Hope...

Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

God is the author of all hope and His Hope does not disappoint us…So, let's get honest…why are we disappointed with God??? Seriously!! If God does not disappoint us…or put us to shame then why are we disappointed with God??? Why are we blaming God? Anyone?? Perhaps it's because we dis God by appointing the blame for our own mistakes on Him!! Shame on you and shame on me!! REally??? When you are disappointed in God…you better check your facts…Disappointed today??? Instead, today…put your hope in God and stop blaming Him…How do I put my hope in God, through faith in the facts..that He did not disappoint you…the devil did…!!!!God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 NIV  The Truth is that we should be boasting about God, not blaming Him…it's just that darn cross isn't it? We could almost complain at some of the suffering couldn't we?? But what are we to do with the cross..Shame on us..Jonah didn't even know the cross..or did he??
